Live202501About me
Born in Japan, I moved to Australia in my twenties and now call Melbourne home.
In my thirties, I decided to take on a field I was interested in but never thought I was good at. I studied web development and now work on websites, landing pages, web applications, and Instagram content for dental clinics.
I enjoy learning new things and building with people. I work comfortably in both Japanese and English, listening to what people need and working together to turn ideas into something real.

What I do
Frontend Development
React, Next.js and TypeScript. I turn designs into working interfaces and bring a developer’s perspective to improve them.
Backend & APIs
REST APIs, authentication and databases. Understanding what happens behind the screen helps me ask better questions and build a frontend that fits.
Design to Code
I use Figma and Canva in my web design process. As a developer, I think about how a design will work in practice, not just how it looks.
Learning from People
I like to think things through and learn from the people around me. I'll try something new — and stick with it.
04How I work
How I work as part of a team
01
step
Understand first
When I join a project, I start by reading the documentation and listening to the team to understand how things work.
02
step
Own my work
I take responsibility for my tasks and work towards the agreed timeline. If I need help along the way, I communicate and keep things moving.
03
step
Ask and learn
When I'm stuck, I research, use AI tools, or ask more experienced teammates. I try to learn from each question and apply it next time.
04
step
Look beyond the task
If I find a bug or something that could be better, I raise it and help work out what to do. I’ve also written test cases and scenario tests to catch issues early.
Open to frontend roles in Australia, and to freelance work.
